OMS 6th graders will be taking the 2nd district Benchmark Assessment on Tuesday March 8th.  The topics covered will be Algebra (including solving equations), Rates, and Probability.​

All 6th graders will be attending the Shelton Juniors Production about Wilbur and Orville Wright and thier passion about man being able to fly on Thursday March 10th.  Cost is $3.00.  Scholarships are available.​

We will be taking our 3rd quiz on creating coordinate graphs this Thursday.​

This week we are focusing on creating coordinate graphs from given data and learning to analyze graphs of information.  Students should be able to match given graphs to "stories" about what may have been happening in the data.

Homework was given out Monday, and is due this Thursday.  See the documents page if your student needs a new copy of the homework.​

About Me

I grew up here in Shelton.  I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Education from Eastern Washington University.  I have been teaching since 2001.  I am currently working on my Master's Degree in Math Education at Evergreen State College.
